Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Innovations, OMZ Group
Before joining the OMZ Sergei was a successful CleanTech entrepreneur, a winner of the Semi-Final at the CleanTech Open 2010, a US nation-wide CleanTech business plan competition. Sergei graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Harvard University in 2010. He focused on energy security and policy at Harvard and on energy technology and entrepreneurship at MIT.
Prior to coming to Cambridge, Mr. Arkhipov graduated with honors from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Law Institute and held executive positions in a number of Russian companies.
Sergei’s area of interest is the nexus of energy technologies, investments and innovation. Startup companies can find support and financing through the “InnoFab”, an internal incubator-accelerator at the OMZ Group.
Mr. Arkhipov is the President of the Harvard Club of Russia, he also leads MIT alumni community in Russia and teaches Technology Entrepreneurship, Organization Design and Strategy at the MIPT (Phystech).
