Amir Zaidman
Vice-President, Rafael Development Corporation

Mr. Amir Zaidman is a Vice President at RDC – Rafael Development Corporation. RDC is responsible for leveraging Rafael technologies for new products and applications, by investing in early stage ventures as well as by promoting internal innovations.

Prior to RDC Mr. Zaidman served as VP Commercial Affairs at BGN Technologies, the technology transfer arm of Ben Gurion University of the Negev. At this position he was responsible for commercializing the University’s IP as well as for creating and solidifying relationships between the University researchers and commercial companies. Before BGN Mr. Zaidman was a Partner at Expedio Ventures and at 7Health Ventures, VC funds focusing on the life-sciences sector.

Prior to 7Health Ventures, Mr. Zaidman was Vice President of business development at OHV technological incubator, where he led investments in early stage technology ventures and served on the board of directors of several medical technology companies.

Before that he held executive positions in Flash Networks and in the Mobile-Entertainment division at Comverse (NASDAQ: CMVT).

Mr. Zaidman is an Attorney and a member of the Israeli bar association and is also a CPA (Israel). He holds a BA in accounting and an LLB, both from the Tel-Aviv University, and an MBA from the executive program at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
